MLM2XPRO FAQs
Can I use the MLM2XPRO indoors?
Absolutely. It's just as at home in the garage, shed or spare room as it is at the driving range, and the carry case makes it easy to take between the two. The unit sits behind the ball, so the room you'll need depends on your setup. Get in touch with our team and we'll help you work out your space and pick the right enclosure, impact screen and hitting mat.
Do I need a subscription?
Not to get started. The free Rapsodo Golf app gives you shot tracking and range practice out of the box. A Rapsodo Core membership is what unlocks the full experience, including all 15 metrics, simulator play on 30,000+ courses with putting, Swing Replay and Impact Vision, training modes like Bag Mapping and Wedge Matrix, and play on PC.
What's the difference between Core and Studios?
Core is the main membership and covers simulator play, putting, video replay and the training tools. Studios is the premium tier, adding highly detailed 4K courses through Rapsodo Studios on PC for the most immersive indoor experience.
How is the MLM2XPRO different from the MLM2PRO?
Both use Doppler radar and dual cameras, and both track 15 metrics. The MLM2XPRO adds simulator putting, connects and shows your shots twice as fast, has an on-unit display for battery, connectivity and level/tilt, comes with an upgraded adjustable tripod, and includes 12 RPT balls instead of 3. See the comparison table above for the full rundown.
Can I putt with the MLM2XPRO?
Yes. With a Core membership you can putt on Rapsodo's 30,000+ simulator courses, so you can play every hole from the tee box right through to the cup.
Do I need special golf balls?
For measured spin rate and spin axis, yes. The MLM2XPRO reads spin from Rapsodo RPT golf balls, and a dozen are included in the box (either Titleist Pro V1 or Callaway Chrome Tour). If you need more down the track, just get in touch.
What devices does it work with?
The Rapsodo Golf app is free on iOS and Android phones and tablets. For big-screen sim play, there's also a free Rapsodo Golf PC app, which needs a Core or Studios membership.
Is it compatible with GSPro and E6 Connect?
Yes. Rapsodo lists GSPro, E6 Connect, E6 Apex and Awesome Golf as MLM2XPRO simulation partners. Keep in mind each one needs its own licence, purchased from the software developer.
