Aussie Golf Sims was founded by three mates who loved golf and simply wanted a better way to play more often.

Like most everyday golfers, we found it harder and harder to get out for a proper round. Between work, weather, rising green fees and life in general, finding time for golf wasn’t always easy. So naturally, we all had the same thought:

“Wouldn’t it be unreal to have a golf simulator at home?”

The more we researched it, the more we realised there was a problem. In Australia, golf simulators were either ridiculously expensive, overcomplicated, or both.

So, like most Aussies who think “how hard can it be?”, we decided to build our own.

With nothing but determination, average golf swings and way too many YouTube tutorials, we started figuring it all out ourselves. There were plenty of trial-and-error moments along the way. Stuff that didn’t fit. Stuff that didn’t work. Plenty of “what the hell are we doing?” moments. But slowly, piece by piece, we cracked the code on building quality golf simulator setups without the crazy price tag.

What started as three mates giving it a crack quickly turned into something much bigger.

We realised there were thousands of golfers around Australia just like us. People who loved the game and wanted a simulator setup at home, but didn’t know where to start or simply couldn’t justify the ridiculous pricing in the market.

That’s where Aussie Golf Sims was born.
