BenQ AK800ST Laser 4K Golf Simulator AI Projector

The BenQ AK800ST brings BenQ's AI golf processing and 4K laser picture to a projector built for rooms that do more than one job. At 5000 lumens it handles lights-on play and daylight better than most sim projectors, and the short throw lens gets a big image from a short distance, making it a great fit for garages, rumpus rooms and home entertainment spaces.

Lifelike course visuals

BenQ's AI Sim Sense uses a dedicated onboard AI processor to take the standard SDR output from your launch monitor software and lift it closer to HDR quality. AI Super Resolution upscales to 4K and sharpens fine detail like fairway mowing lines and green texture, while AI Noise Reduction cleans up the shimmer you often see on grass and distant trees. BenQ's Golf Mode and HDR Golf picture mode are tuned for natural course colours, with local contrast enhancement across around 5,000 screen zones for extra depth.

Bright enough for real rooms

Not every sim lives in a blacked-out room. 5000 lumens keeps the picture punchy with the lights on or the windows open, and the Ambient Visual Enhancer uses the built-in camera to recalibrate colours for your current lighting at the press of a button.

Easy setup

Short throw, no shadows

With a 0.69 to 0.83 throw ratio, a 3m wide image needs the projector only about 2.1 to 2.5m from the screen. That lets it sit overhead near the hitting area instead of behind you, keeping your shadow off the screen and making it a good match for tighter rooms. The whole family's entertainment hub

Outside of golf it's a seriously good home cinema and gaming projector, with 24p and HDR10/HLG support, MEMC motion smoothing for sport and Auto Low Latency Mode for gaming. Picture-in-Picture lets you keep a tournament running while you play (requires wireless casting, and app and DRM restrictions apply), and BenQ InstaShare puts photos and videos from your phone on the big screen. Scene Memory saves up to five complete profiles, so switching between golf, movies and games takes one button.
