Meet the RooBox V2
Our Ready-to-Go Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit, Rebuilt From Customer Feedback
The RooBox V2 is a golf simulator enclosure kit built for Aussie garages, sheds and spare rooms. We took the feedback from our first wave RooBox variation and improved the parts that matter most: how the screen attaches, how the canopy fits and how strong the frame feels.
What's In The Box
Everything you need to build your RooBox V2 arrives in one package.
Choose the option without poles to source your own aluminium tubing.
A Smarter Impact Screen
Velcro On. Bungee Already Threaded.
The RooBox V2 comes with our popular premium impact screen with velcro along the grommet line that attaches the screen to the side stripes, as well as a sleeve at the bottom with a bungee cord pre-threaded.
A Seamless Black Canopy
Clean From the Outside In
The black canopy on the RooBox V2 has a seamless design from the outside in, giving your golf simulator a clean, finished look in your garage, shed or spare room.
Stretchy Suede Back Cover
Wraps Under the Bottom Pole
The black back hangout is now a stretchy black out suede material that wraps under the bottom pole, so no light gets in, balls stay inside the enclosure even if they slip through the bottom.
Wider Side Stripes With Hook and Loop
One Stripe. Two Connections.
The side stripes are now 15cm wide and fitted with both hook and loop. They connect to the impact screen and to the canopy, holding the whole front of the enclosure together.
Stronger Corner Pieces
Thicker Steel. Upgraded Design.
The corner pieces have been upgraded for V2, with thicker steel and a refined design. They are still Allen key tightened, which holds stronger than push button systems. The bottom pole is now offset, and a bungee cord tightening system is part of the new corner piece design.
Heavy Duty Aluminium Tubing
Included in the Kit, or Buy Your Own
The RooBox V2 frame is built from heavy duty aluminium tubing, included in the complete kit. If you would rather buy the tubing yourself, you can. Our assembly guide has the correct pole dimensions.

RooBox V2 FAQs
Everything you need to know before you build your simulator around the RooBox V2.
What is the RooBox V2?
The RooBox V2 is our ready-to-build golf simulator enclosure, designed for garages, sheds and spare rooms. Everything you need for the enclosure comes in one kit, so you can go from box to hitting balls in a couple of hours with no custom fabrication or specialist tools.
V2 builds on the original with a hook and loop impact screen, stronger corner pieces and a stretchy suede back cover and more. Prices start from $1,799.
What sizes are available?
The standard RooBox V2 comes in two sizes: 3m wide x 2.6m high x 1.5m deep, and 3.5m wide x 2.6m high x 1.5m deep. Both have a 20cm offset bottom pole. If neither suits your room, we can build to your measurements (see the custom size question below).
How much space do I need?
The enclosure is only part of it. You also need room for your swing, the hitting mat and your launch monitor. We recommend a room at least 2.8m high, 3.5m and 5 to 6m deep, and for the 3.5m wide enclosure you will want at least 4m of width.
Not sure if your space will work? Send us your room dimensions and we will tell you straight whether it will fit.
How long does it take to build?
Most people have it up in 1 to 2 hours. You will need a helping hand for some of the steps, and the extra pair of hands makes it quicker. Our assembly guide walks you through each step.
How long will the impact screen last?
The impact screen is built for around 20,000 to 50,000 shots, depending on how you use it. If you are mostly hitting irons, expect it to sit at the higher end. Lots of full-speed driver swings will wear it faster.
How does the impact screen attach?
The screen attaches to the pole system with the included ball bungees, the bungee cord arrives already threaded through the bttom sleeve, which is tied off using our new tighening mechanism. There is no fiddly threading, and no need to fight the screen into place.
Will balls escape out the back or under the frame?
No. The RooBox V2 is designed to keep balls inside. The stretchy suede back cover wraps under the 20cm offset bottom pole, closing the gap that balls can otherwise sneak through.
Does it work with my launch monitor?
Yes. The RooBox works with all launch monitors, whether you use radar, camera or photometric.
Do I need to buy poles separately?
No. The complete kit includes heavy duty aluminium tubing for the frame. If you would rather source your own, choose the option without poles and use the assembly guide for the exact pole dimensions.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes. If your room does not suit one of the standard sizes, we can build a custom sized RooBox to your measurements. Get in touch with your room dimensions and we will point you in the right direction.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. The RooBox V2 is designed for indoor use only, such as a garage, shed or spare room.
Can I build a full golf simulator around the RooBox?
Yes. Add a hitting mat, a launch monitor and a projector, or use our simulator builder to put together a complete package.
