Terms & Conditions of Hire

1. Setup, Operation & Venue Requirements

  • Setup & Pack Down: Setup requires approximately 1.5 hours, and pack down is 45 minutes post-event finish time.
  • Tutorial: A 20-minute tutorial will be provided before the event, covering operation and basic troubleshooting. A printed guide is included for reference.
  • Venue Access: A minimum of 3m x 5m clear space and access to power is required. Vehicle parking must also be available.
  • Guest Conduct: The client is responsible for supervising guests and ensuring safe and respectful use of all equipment.

2. Damage & Security Deposit

  • A $1,000.00 refundable damage deposit is collected on the day of the event before setup.
  • If the cost of damage exceeds the deposit amount, the client agrees to cover the additional cost upon receipt of an invoice.
  • Damage to surrounding property caused by errant golf shots (“mis-hits”) is not the responsibility of Aussie Golf Sims Pty Ltd.
  • Personal injury due to misuse of the simulator or accessories is the sole responsibility of the client and/or users.

3. Technical Issues & Refunds

  • Minor connectivity issues may occur and are generally resolved using the troubleshooting guide or by contacting the number we provide.
  • If a major technical fault prevents the event from continuing, a 90% refund of the hire fee will be issued.
  • A reasonableness test will determine if a refund is due based on cause, resolution efforts, and the extent of impact.

4. Weather Policy

  • The simulator setup is not weatherproof.
  • If severe weather prevents safe operation, the event will be cancelled, and 90% of the hire fee refunded.
  • Weather-related cancellations are assessed on the day of the event.

5. Client Cancellations

  • Within 7 days: 50% refund
  • Within 48 hours: Non-refundable (except for weather-related cancellations)

6. Payment Terms

  • Full payment of the hire fee is due at least 7 days before the event.
  • The $1,000.00 refundable damage deposit is collected on the day of the event prior to setup.

7. Liability & Indemnity

  • Aussie Golf Sims Pty Ltd is not liable for:
    • Damage to property caused by mis-hits or off-target shots;
    • Injury due to misuse or unsafe operation;
    • Event disruption caused by forces beyond our control.
  • The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Aussie Golf Sims Pty Ltd from any related claims or damages.

8. Force Majeure

Aussie Golf Sims Pty Ltd is not responsible for service failure due to events such as power outages, road closures, or natural disasters.

9. Media Use

With the client’s permission, we may take event setup photos for marketing. Please notify us in advance if you'd prefer no photos.

10. Acceptance

By confirming your booking and submitting payment, you agree to all terms outlined above. If you have questions, contact us before finalising your booking.
