Built From Your Feedback
Meet the RooBox V2
Our Ready-to-Go Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit, Rebuilt From Customer Feedback
The RooBox V2 is a golf simulator enclosure kit built for Aussie garages, sheds and spare rooms. We took the feedback from our first wave RooBox variation and improved the parts that matter most: how the screen attaches, how the canopy fits and how strong the frame feels.
What's In The Box
Everything you need to build your RooBox V2 arrives in one package.
Choose the option without poles to source your own aluminium tubing.
A Smarter Impact Screen
Velcro On. Bungee Already Threaded.
The RooBox V2 comes with our popular premium impact screen with velcro along the grommet line that attaches the screen to the side stripes, as well as a sleeve at the bottom with a bungee cord pre-threaded.
A Seamless Black Canopy
Clean From the Outside In
The black canopy on the RooBox V2 has a seamless design from the outside in, giving your golf simulator a clean, finished look in your garage, shed or spare room.
Stretchy Suede Back Cover
Wraps Under the Bottom Pole
The black back hangout is now a stretchy black out suede material that wraps under the bottom pole, so no light gets in, balls stay inside the enclosure even if they slip through the bottom.
Thicker Side Stripes With Hook and Loop
One Stripe. Two Connections.
The side stripes are now 15cm wide and fitted with both hook and loop. They connect to the impact screen and to the canopy, holding the whole front of the enclosure together.
Stronger Corner Pieces
Thicker Steel. Upgraded Design.
The corner pieces have been upgraded for V2, with thicker steel and a refined design. They are still Allen key tightened, which holds stronger than push button systems. The bottom pole is now offset, and a bungee cord tightening system is part of the new corner piece design.
Heavy Duty Aluminium Tubing
Included in the Kit, or Buy Your Own
The RooBox V2 frame is built from heavy duty aluminium tubing, included in the complete kit. If you would rather buy the tubing yourself, you can. Our assembly guide has the correct pole dimensions.

Custom Size RooBox V2 FAQs
Everything you need to know about building a RooBox V2 to suit your space.
What is the Custom Size RooBox V2?
The Custom Size RooBox V2 is our ready-to-build golf simulator enclosure, made to suit your room dimensions. Whether you are fitting out a garage, shed or dedicated golf simulator room, we can customise the enclosure to make the most of your space.
You get the same V2 improvements as our standard RooBox, including the hook and loop impact screen, upgraded corner pieces and stretchy suede back cover.
How do I order a custom sized RooBox?
You can enter your required dimensions and order directly through our website, or get in touch with our team for a custom quote.
If you are unsure which dimensions will work best, send us your available room measurements and we can help you work out the right enclosure size before ordering.
How much does a custom sized RooBox cost?
The Custom Size RooBox V2 starts from $2,299, with pricing based on your selected dimensions and configuration.
For enclosures exceeding 4m wide x 3m high x 3m deep, please get in touch with our team before ordering, as additional fees may apply.
What is the maximum custom size available?
Our Custom Size RooBox V2 can be made up to 4.5m wide x 3.1m high x 3m deep, giving you the flexibility to make the most of your available space.
If your enclosure exceeds 4m wide x 3m high x 3m deep, please contact us before ordering. Additional fees may apply for larger configurations.
How long does a custom enclosure take?
Custom RooBox V2 enclosures are made to order, with an estimated lead time of 3 to 4 weeks.
We recommend allowing enough time for production when planning your golf simulator build.
How much space do I need?
That depends on the dimensions of your custom enclosure, your swing and the launch monitor you plan to use.
As a general guide, we recommend at least 2.8m of ceiling height where possible and approximately 5 to 6m of room depth. The enclosure should also have sufficient clearance around it for safe use.
Not sure about your room? Send us your dimensions and we can help you determine a suitable setup.
Does the custom RooBox include all V2 upgrades?
Yes. Our custom sized RooBox includes the same V2 improvements as the standard enclosure, including the hook and loop impact screen, pre-threaded bungee sleeve, stronger corner pieces, 15cm side stripes and stretchy suede back cover.
Do I need to buy aluminium poles separately?
No. You can order your custom RooBox with heavy duty aluminium tubing included, or select the option without poles if you would prefer to source your own.
If sourcing your own poles, make sure they match the dimensions and specifications required for your custom enclosure.
How long does it take to assemble?
Assembly time depends on the size of your custom enclosure. Most standard sized RooBox enclosures can be assembled in approximately 1 to 2 hours, while larger custom builds may take longer.
We recommend having a second person available to assist with assembly. You can also refer to our assembly guides for further information.
How long will the impact screen last?
Our impact screens are designed for approximately 20,000 to 50,000 shots, depending on usage. Factors such as ball speed, shot frequency and the type of clubs used can affect screen lifespan.
Regularly cleaning your golf balls and keeping the screen correctly tensioned can help minimise unnecessary wear.
Will it work with my launch monitor?
Yes. The custom RooBox can be used with a wide range of golf launch monitors, including radar and camera-based systems.
Just make sure your room has enough depth and clearance for your chosen launch monitor's tracking requirements.
Can I build a complete golf simulator around it?
Absolutely. Pair your custom RooBox with a hitting mat, launch monitor and projector to create a complete home golf simulator.
